Army football depth chart has no major changes for Saturday's home game with Troy
The sixth depth chart of the season for Army football has no major changes in the starting lineup, although two injured standouts remain questionable headed into this Saturday’s home game with Troy. The Black Knights bowed at Syracuse and to visiting Boston College over the last two weeks.
Running back Ay'Jaun Marshall is still out from a leg injury suffered in the Syracuse game and wide receiver Isaiah Alston got hurt in practice the week following – both are listed as starters although their return was not confirmed by head coach Jeff Monken. A West Point contact gave a thumbs down on the imminent return of linebacker Spencer Jones, who has missed the last two games. Also, running back Miles Stewart did not play against B.C., nor did left tackle Boobie Law.
At wide receiver, Casey Reynolds and Veshe Daniyan got their first starts of the season against B.C. Markel Johnson and Zach Mundell are now listed as the top kick returners.
Monken said the punting job between Cooper Allan and Billy Boehlke remains open. Allan had two bad punts in the poor weather against Boston College, but Monken said the pair have an open competition every week.
