Arkansas softball vs. Texas: Live score updates from NCAA Tournament super regional

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas softball is two wins away from its first Women's College World Series appearance. The No. 4-seed Razorbacks will play Texas for a best-of-three series in the super regional at Bogle Park. Game 1 is set for 6 p.m. CT Thursday (ESPN2).

Arkansas swept its regional, defeating Princeton and Oregon to advance. Texas was one of five unseeded teams to upset its regional host when it beat No. 13 Washington in the Seattle regional.

The series is a reunion of sorts for Arkansas catcher Taylor Ellsworth, who played five seasons with the Longhorns before transferring to join coach Courtney Deifel and the Razorbacks.

Arkansas will likely start righthander Mary Haff (20-4, 2.61 ERA) in the circle. Texas will likely give the ball to righty Hailey Dolcini (21-9, 2.21 ERA).
