The Arizona Republic's Top 10 high school basketball players of the week; vote in poll

With the playoffs underway, here are The Arizona Republic's Top 10 boys high school basketball player performances for the week of Feb. 5-10. Coaches nominated players. Vote in our poll below for the top overall performer.

Top 10 Players of the Week

1. Kingston Tosi, Millennium, Jr.

The 6-foot-7 wing had 35 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots in a 65-52 win over Desert Mountain that wrapped up the regular season with the Tigers posting a perfect record against Arizona schools.

2. Dayvon Standard, Buckeye, So.

The guard led four double-digit scorers with 25 points in a 72-58 win over Horizon that capped a 12-0 region mark and 5A Central Valley Region championship. Buckeye went 15-3 in power-points games.

3. Dylan Novak, ALA Gilbert North, Jr.

The point guard earned the 4A East Sky Region Player of the Year honor. He had 18 points in a 65-59 win over Mesquite in the final regular-season game. He also had eight rebounds and four assists.

4. Nate Morales, Dysart, Sr.

He had 27 points in a 68-41 rout of Cactus. Dysart finished the regular season unbeaten in power-point games.

5. Ryan Burbach, Brophy Prep, Jr.

The shooting guard had 22 points, making six-of-11 3-pointers, in a 56-43 win over Hamilton. He also had nine rebounds and two steals. He scored 14 points in the first half.

6. Keon Talgo, Gilbert Christian, Sr.

He ended the regular season strong, scoring 35 points on nine-of-16 3-pointers in a 100-39 win over Globe. He made six 3s in the third quarter and added nine rebounds and seven steals. In a win over San Tan Foothills, he had 10 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.

7. Koa Peat, Perry, Jr.

The 6-8 star had 20 points and six rebounds in an 82-31 rout of Chandler in the team's last regular-season game.

8. Austin Wallace, Valley Christian, Sr.

In a 93-51 rout of Florence to get to 25 wins, Wallace had 29 points, making 10 of 14 shots, including three-of-five 3-pointers. He also had seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block.

9. Danta Stallworth, Cesar Chavez, Sr.

The 5-10 guard had 27 points, making eight-of-15 shots, in a 69-56 win over Shadow Ridge for the team's 21st straight win. He made five-of-seven 3-pointers.

10. Tyson Dobbins, Desert Christian, So.

The 6-2 guard had 17 points in a 52-50 overtime win over Cicero Prep in the first round of the 1A tournament and 27 points in a 57-44 win over Anthem Prep in the quarterfinals. He made four of eight 3-pointers in the two games combined.
