Arizona Cardinals' depth chart, roster: QB Josh Dobbs starter for game vs. New York Giants
When the Arizona Cardinals unveiled their first regular season depth chart before NFL Week 1 against the Washington Commanders, one starting position wasn't specified as the team listed Josh Dobbs or Clayton Tune as the starter.
Arizona went on to start Dobbs in that first game, a 20-16 loss on the road.
And it looks like it is going to keep starting Dobbs for the time being as quarterback Kyler Murray is on the PUP list and can't play until Week 5 at the earliest.
The Cardinals released their depth chart for Week 2's game against the New York Giants on Tuesday and it now lists Dobbs as the starter and Tune as the backup.
It was the only change on the team's depth chart from Week 1.
Arizona traded for Dobbs shortly before the season, so he didn't have much time to acclimate to the team, although he is familiar with the system having spent time with Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing when he was with the Cleveland Browns for some of Dobbs' time there.

Dobbs went 21-for-30 in his debut for the Cardinals, with 132 yards. He did lose a couple of fumbles in the game, which proved costly for Arizona.
Tune is a rookie out of Houston whom the Cardinals drafted in the fifth round.
On Monday, Arizona coach Jonathan Gannon said Dobbs will once again be the team’s starting quarterback this weekend when the Cardinals host the Giants at State Farm Stadium.
“I’m looking forward to this week with him going through a normal week of prep after one game is under his belt,” Gannon said while on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. “Looking forward to seeing what he does next week.”
