Analyzing final Vikings injury report in Week 11 vs. Broncos

The Minnesota Vikings are set to take on the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football and will be doing so without multiple players once again.

The Vikings ruled out both cornerback Akayleb Evans and quarterback Jaren Hall due to injuries and there are five more listed as questionable. Hall would have been the backup quarterback but losing Evans with a wide receiver like Courtland Sutton on the other side is a tough loss.

The final injury report has a lot of intrigue to it due to who is listed. Here is what you need to know.

  • QB Jaren Hall (concussion)

  • CB Akayleb Evans (calf)

The team is hopeful that both Hall and Evans will be available next week against the Chicago Bears. Without Evans, look for both Andrew Booth Jr. and Mekhi Blackmon to see a significant snap share. Also, don’t be surprised to see Joejuan Williams activated from the practice squad.

Asamoah still being limited with an ankle injury is frustrating and a contributing factor why the team signed Anthony Barr.

Both Jefferson and Mattison remain firmly questionable, but Mattison being questionable days after suffering a concussion is a good sign. Jefferson likely won’t play with the team either waiting until after the bye week or next Monday night against the Chicago Bears to return.

O’Connell hopes that Mullens can be QB2 with Hall out for one more week.

This is the final game that Reed can miss in his 21-day practice window.

Osborn and Lowry make their returns after missing time with their injuries.

Hockenson and Dobbs were never in danger of missing the game but it was noticeable that they were both injured.
