Second-team selections from Alabama were running back Jase McClellan, guard Tyler Booker, defensive tackle Jaheim Oatis, safety Malachi Moore and defensive end Justin Eboigbe. Third-teamers included wide receiver Jermaine Burton, defensive tackle Tim Smith and linebacker Chris Braswell.

The media also projected Georgia to win the SEC Championship Game, and narrowly selected Alabama to win the SEC West. It marked the first time since 2015 that Alabama has not been predicted to win the league title at SEC Media Days.
