Alabama Football flips Florida State commit Rydarrius Morgan, a three-star safety

Rydarrius Morgan, a 2024 safety, announced Wednesday his commitment to Alabama football.

The three-star announced his commitment on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Morgan, who originally committed to Florida State on July 4, becomes the second 2024 commit the Crimson Tide have flipped in the past two days. He follows Peyton Woodyard, who decided to play at Alabama instead of Georgia on Tuesday.

The Phenix City, Alabama, native is listed as the No. 54 safety and No. 29 prospect in Alabama on 247Sports Composite.

The 6-foot, 175-pound defensive back becomes the 17th commitment in Alabama's class of 2024, which 247Sports Composite has ranked as the No. 4 class in the country. He is now the fourth defensive back in the class, alongside Woodyard, Jaylen Mbakwe and Zabien Brown.
