Aberdeen's Chad Becker finishes third in 40-lap feature during 11th Marilyn Olson Memorial

Tyler Peterson of Hickson (N.D.) earned the big paycheck Sunday night during the 11th Marilyn Olson Memorial racing program at Casino Speedway.

The event included the Wissota Late Model Challenge Series and also was the final day of the Troy Benson Tribute Tour. Twenty-six late model drivers were on hand along with Midwest modifieds, street stocks and hornets.

Peterson won the 40-lap late model feature and the $3,000 prize that came with it. John Kaanta of Elk Mound (Wis.) was second and Chad Becker of Aberdeen third.

It was Peterson's first feature win of the season at Casino. Tommy Nichols of Watertown (Midwest modifieds), Jason Marko of Watertown (street stocks) and Bradley Rossow of Florence (hornets) also recorded their first feature wins of the year.

Racing continues Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. with the Father's Day Ice Cream Night and Moonshine Modified Tour. All six regular classes of cars will be racing.

Feature races were not held and will be made up in the coming weeks.

This week's racing program, set for 7 p.m., will include the Moonshine Modified Tour.
