757Teamz football top 15: Poquoson climbs in as Islanders ready for regular-season finale vs. Lafayette

Poquoson, riding a six-game winning streak and sitting first in the Class 2 Region A playoffs, joins the top 15 just in time for the Islanders’ regular-season finale against Lafayette.

The Rams have won 6 of 7 and visit Poquoson on Friday night in a Bay Rivers showdown.

Meanwhile, King’s Fork moved up to No. 4 in Hampton Roads after clinching the program’s first outright Southeastern District championship. Warwick, after a 10-2 loss to Peninsula District rival Phoebus, fell to No. 5.
