Longtime Cincinnati Bengals fans know the No. 56 has had some memorable success in the 2000s before fading again.
Thank linebacker Brian Simmons. Starting in 1998, the first-round pick by the Bengals spent a decade in the league, racking up 748 tackles, 24 sacks and 11 interceptions, among other notable numbers.
In more recent times, the number has belonged to names such as Josh Bynes and Wyatt Hubert, with it currently belonging to Raymond Johnson III as of this writing.
