Lawrence County basketball standout TJ Gobble named Tennessean boys athlete of the week
The results are in and Lawrence County basketball standout TJ Gobble captured the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries Tennessean boys athlete of the week for Jan. 22-27.
Gobble captured 13,500 votes and took home 52.2% of the boys vote total (25,860). He beat out Pickett County's Jacob Amonett who finished second with 7,455 votes and Livingston Academy's Bilbrey who finished with 2,350 votes.
Franklin's Gil Jones also captured over 2,000 votes for fourth place (2,337).
Gobble had 30 points and two 3-pointers in a win over Central Magnet last Tuesday.
