4 Mosley athletes sign college letters-of-intent

Four Mosley High School athletes in three different sports signed college letters-of-intent in a ceremony at the school on Wednesday.

Dolphins volleyball players Liberty McLean and Halie Hallmon signed with West Florida and Spring Hill College, respectively, while soccer player Lexi Clark signed with the University of North Georgia, and baseball player Tyler Wave signed with Gulf Coast.

McLean, a 6-foot-1 middle blocker, has been a four-year varsity player for the Dolphins, compiling 614 career kills and 231 total blocks. Hallmon, a 5-foot-6 defensive specialist, has played for the Mosley varsity for three years and has 911 career digs and 648 career serve receives.

Clark is a senior midfielder who has been an All-County First Team selection in each of the past two seasons, scoring six goals for the Dolphins as a junior.

A senior pitcher and outfielder, Wave helped lead the Dolphins' baseball team to a state championship earlier this year, batting .321 with a home run, eight doubles, 26 RBI, 27 hits, and 20 runs while going 6-1 on the mound with a 3.20 ERA and 66 strikeouts in 39 1/3 innings.
