2026 four-star athlete Thomas Davis Jr. gets USC offer

Thomas Davis Jr. of Weddington High School in Matthews, North Carolina, has been offered by USC.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Davis is rated the No. 67 overall prospect and the No. 3 linebacker, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the No. 82 overall prospect and the No. 3 linebacker in the 247Sports rankings.

Davis recorded 92 total tackles with 13.5 tackles for a loss (a sack) and seven QB hurries in 16 games. He also broke up eight passes, recorded one interception, and caused a fumble. He recorded 31 tackles, two TFL, a sack, two INTs, and two fumble recoveries as a freshman. Davis also plays basketball and track and field, running the 100 and 200 meters.

His father, Thomas Davis Sr., was a NFL draft first-round pick in 2004 who became 16-year NFL veteran, playing 14 of those years with the Carolina Panthers. He was a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro selection. Davis Sr. was the NFL’s 2014 Walter Payton Man of the Year and a one-time All-America selection during a three-year college career at Georgia (2002-04).

Davis Jr. also holds offers from Wake Forest, Purdue, N.C. State, Duke, South Carolina, Georgia, Miami, Virginia Tech, UNC, Auburn, Tennessee, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Penn State, and others.
