2024 NFL Combine: When is it? How can I watch? Who's participating?

The NFL Combine is just days away.

The Combine, officially known as the NFL Scouting Combine, is at its core a chance for team scouts, coaches and executives to take a look at hundreds of potential draft prospects. That's true, but that's only a part of the allure of the event.

Some of the most important conversations take place away from the Combine's workouts. Instead, they take place inside the various bars and hotel lobbies, where team executives often grease the wheels on future free-agent deals and trades with other teams that can't be consummated until mid-March.

Here's what to know about this year's NFL Combine:

When and where is the NFL Combine?

The NFL Combine will be held Feb. 27-March 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Lucas Oil Stadium is the home of the Indianapolis Colts.

What is the schedule for the NFL Combine?

The primary focus of the Combine, the prospects workouts, will take place Feb. 29-March 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Each day will be dedicated to a specific position group or two. However, NFL team personnel, specifically general managers and/or head coaches, are also made available to the media on Feb. 27-28 in the Indiana Convention Center. The prospects will also speak to the media during set times at the convention center from Feb. 28-March 2 while they also do private interviews with various teams.

How many prospects participate in the NFL Combine?

There were 321 prospects invited by the league to participate. They are broken down by position: quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers, cornerbacks, safeties and specialists.
