Recap: NBA All-Star Game video highlights, Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton stats

After an eventful Saturday night where Team Pacers won the Kia Skills Competition, we're onto Sunday for the NBA All-Star Game from Indianapolis.

Tyrese Haliburton will start for the Eastern Conference squad that will be coached by Doc Rivers of the Milwaukee Bucks. It is Haliburton's second All-Star appearance.

Damian Lillard wins NBA All-Star Game MVP

Damian Lillard was booed by Indianapolis fans as he was announced as the winner. Obviously, the people in attendance wanted Tyrese Haliburton to bring home the award.

Final: East cruises past West in NBA All-Star Game

This was somewhat close early on but the East was in control for most of the 73rd edition of the NBA All-Star Game. No team had ever scored above 200 points in an All-Star game. The previous record was 196.

Tyrese Haliburton had a great game of 32 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 10 3-pointers. Damian Lillard led the way with 39 points and 6 assists. For the West, Karl Anthony-Towns had 50 points and 8 rebounds coming off the bench.

The East made 42 of 97 3-point attempts.

The East has outscored the West in every quarter and that's exactly what's happening in the fourth (19-17). East has attempted 79 3-pointers (46%).

Four players for the East have scored 20 points or more. Damian Lillard (33), Tyrese Haliburton (24), Jaylen Brown (23) and Jayson Tatum (20) lead the Eastern Conference.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the team leader for the West with 23 points.

The East ended the quarter on a 16-4 run.

Damian Lillard is going for that MVP trophy. The Milwaukee Bucks star has 33 points (9-16 on 3s). Tyrese Haliburton has 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Halftime: East is cruising against the West

The East attempted an eye-popping 48 3-point attempts in the first half. They made 22 of them (46%). On the other hand, the West was 10 of 28 (36%).

Damian Lillard leads all scorers with 22 points. Tyrese Haliburton has 18 (all of his points have come on 3-pointers). Steph Curry and Kevin Durant lead the West with 12 points each.

Whoa, Tyrese Haliburton isn't messing around. The Pacers star scored 15 straight points for the East squad. All of those points came from 3-pointers. He finally missed a deep attempt but what a start.

Tyrese Haliburton arrives at NBA All-Star Game wearing unique outfit

Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton showed up at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game with an outfit that caught the attention of many.

Haliburton walked into the fieldhouse wearing a suitcoat with blue fur on both arms and at the bottom of the coat. The two-time All-Star will start tonight's game.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway involved in NBA All-Star weekend

This big weekend in Indianapolis isn't about racing, but 100 days before the next Indy 500, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is getting in on all the action.
