2024 5-star Athlete Terry Bussey places Texas A&M among his final 11 program list

The Aggies now know where they stand with 2024 five-star Athlete Terry Bussey, who according to multiple recruiting sites is a favorite to land with the Maroon and White, but as we know, nothing is ever official until the pen hits paper.

On Monday, things became clearer after Bussey announced his final Top 11 program list, which included Auburn, Texas, Florida, TCU, Oregon, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, and of course, Texas A&M.

According to 247Sports, Bussey is ranked as the 17th player in the 2024 cycle, the No.1-ranked Athlete, and the 4th-ranked player in Texas. Projected as a wide receiver at the collegiate level, the most accurate comparison from a Texas A&M perspective would be do-it-all WR Ainias Smith, and no offense to Smith’s skill set, but Bussey’s next-level speed, athleticism, and versatility set him apart from nearly every receiver on the Aggies’ 2023 roster.

Bussey’s high school stats during his 2022 junior season at Timpson High School in Timpson, Texas are otherworldly, throwing for 2,177 yards and 26 touchdowns with a 64% completion percentage as the starting quarterback while rushing for 2,596 yards and 46 touchdowns with a 14-yard per rush average. As a two-way player, Bussey recorded over 115 tackles and 5 interceptions with 4 returned for touchdowns as a defensive back.

After taking an unofficial visit to College Station on Apr. 8th, things have been heating up between both parties, so let’s say very good news regarding Bussey’s playing future could be on the horizon.
