2024 3-star OL Coen Echols receives ‘Crystal Ball’ to land with Texas A&M

Texas A&M and head coach Jimbo Fisher are completely focused on their summer recruiting push as the 2023 season is still four months away, as the 2024 recruiting cycle is beginning to heat up with multiple big-time visits planned for the next couple of months.

After landing four-star offensive linemen Chase Bisontis and TJ Shanahan in the 2023 cycle, Fisher’s emphasis on adding size and athleticism in the trenches has led to his prioritized focus on 2024 3-star interior lineman Coen Echols out of Katy, Texas, one of the more underrated prospects in the class.

Texas A&M offered Echols on Apr. 20, he took an unofficial visit to College Station on Saturday, Apr. 29, and according to 247Sports recruiting analyst Brian Perroni, Echols is predicted to land with the Aggies after what looks to have been a very successful meet and greet.

After his highly successful 2022 junior season at Katy High School, Echols’s tape shows an elite run blocker with versatility at both right and left guard. So far, Echols has received offers from 21 programs, including Auburn, Ole Miss, and Nebraska, with more likely to come as his profile continues to rise.
