2023 Orange & White Game: White wins on fourth quarter field goal
Tennessee concluded spring practices with its annual Orange & White Game Saturday at Neyland Stadium before a crowd of 58,473 fans.
The White outlasted the Orange, 17-14, as JT Carver kicked a 40-yard game-winning field goal with three minutes and six seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
Quarterback Gaston Moore, who saw action for both teams, completed 8-of-11 passing attempts, totaling 94 yards, two passing touchdowns and one interception. He had a touchdown pass to Dayton Sneed and Hunter Salmon.
Joe Milton III completed 9-of-13 passing attempts, totaling 79 yards and one touchdown to Kaleb Webb.
Freshman Nico Iamaleava Jr. completed 8-of-16 passing attempts, totaling 112 passing yards and one touchdown.
Freshman running running back DeSean Bishop recorded 88 yards on 24 carries.
