All 10 Topeka-area track and field teams qualify athletes for state meet

The state track and field meet is set to take place in coming days in Wichita, and the Topeka-area schools will be well represented.

All classes will be competing at Cessna Stadium at Wichita State University. Here's what you need to know.

What to know for the state track and field meet

Who: Winners of the first four places for each event, including relays, from the regional meets. In the event of ties for 3rd (or 4th) place, the tiebreaking procedure shall be used.

Where: Cessna Stadium, Wichita, Kansas 67208.

When: Friday and Saturday. Gates will open at 6:45 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

Cost: $10 general admission with tickets available for purchase via cash or credit in person or online.

Topeka-area athletes heading to state
