Dirty Tackle - World Soccer

After using a Champions League match as his own personal toilet in the middle of the week, Stuttgart goalkeeper Jens Lehmann continued his reign of crazy as he left Sunday's Bundesliga match against Mainz. Lehmann had been sent off in the 87th minute for stomping on the foot of Mainz striker Aristide Bance (somehow injuring his own knee in the process), who angered Jens by invading his space earlier in the match.

So as he slipped out just as the game ended in a 1-1 draw, for some reason going right through the exiting crowd, Lehmann stopped to confront a fan. Only instead of just saying something to him or even pushing him away like a somewhat normal human being, Jens decided to take the man's glasses and walk away with them, forcing the guy to chase after him. Once Jens was good and ready to relinquish the spectacles, he handed them to a third party, who then returned them to their owner. From there he attempted to catch a taxi, then he decided to just get on the team bus before getting off and finally taking a cab to the airport so he could fly home.

Of course, this kind of supremely bizarre behavior is nothing new for Lehmann. He's done everything from having a spat with a ballboy to throwing an opponent's shoe over his goal to ripping off a teammate's headband. He's like a rabid squirrel -- there's just no way of predicting what he'll do next.

If you ever come across him in person, don't bother running because he will catch you. Just let him do whatever odd thing he wants to do to you and hope he moves on without too much trouble.
