Wrestling match gone wrong ends Tyson Barrie's time at IIHF Worlds
Tyson Barrie’s time at the World Championship has ended as a lower-body will rule him out for the rest of the tournament.
How Barrie injured himself is what will lead to questions. According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, the Colorado Avalanche defenseman suffered a laceration on his leg while wrestling a teammate at Canada’s hotel.
Barrie was wrestling with a teammate in his hotel room and suffered a leg laceration. For precautionary reasons he is done.

We like imagine this as Barrie, in an Austin 3:16 shirt, delivering a Stone Cold Stunner that went a little haywire, or maybe one of his teammates had him in the Liontamer and he was trying to break out of it to not submit and give up the belt

Barrie was playing real well while helping the Canadians to a wins in their first three games at the Worlds. As of Thursday, he’s tied for second overall in the tournament with seven points, which is also the most out of any blue liner.
Colton Parayko of the St. Louis Blues is set to replace Barrie on Canada’s back end..
