Wild Sign Kemper To Two-Year Deal
Kuemper signed a two-year contract with the Wild on Thursday, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Tribune reports.Kuemper's negotiations reportedly had stalled recently, but obviously had not as he has finally signed with the team following a long summer of negotiations. With Josh Harding going down with a broken foot, Kuemper figures to see a large portion of games in net for the Wild, with the 36-year-old Niklas Backstrom being the other goaltender challenging for playing time.
