Wes Welker expected to miss Texans game

Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker is expected to be sidelined Sunday against the Houston Texans due to his second concussion in the past two months.

Welker hasn't been medically cleared to practice almost two weeks since suffering his latest concussion.

Andre Caldwell is expected to replace Welker in the slot.

Welker has caught 73 passes for 778 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, missing their last game against the San Diego Chargers.
