Wednesday's Pickups of the Day

Mike Gallagher takes a look at how loaded the Celtics are with assets, how good Jimmy Butler is, and possible third teams in trades

Here are the guys that gained value on Tuesday:

Jimmy Butler- He scored a career-high 28 and filled up the stat sheet on Tuesday.

Luis Scola- His 28 points were a bit unexpected, but the Suns have no choice but to play him sizable minutes.

Brian Roberts- Greivis Vasquez tweaked his ankle and B-Rob would be a must-own player with GV out of the lineup.

Chase Budinger- He scored a team-high 17 and he has three more games this week.

Markieff Morris- His three 3-pointers can really add to his upside. He’s worth owning in standard leagues.

Jermaine O’Neal- We can’t expect him to stay healthy, but he’ll get minutes.

Metta World Peace- It’s shocking to see him come back so soon from a knee injury.

Mike Miller- He was quiet with just five points, but Wade could miss more time.

Reggie Evans- What the? Evans scored 17 points to go with his 24 boards. He has nine 20-board games this year, which leads the league.

Rashard Lewis- He took 11 shots and was able to make just three of them.

Greg Smith- He played 28 minutes and scored 12 points vs. Phoenix.

Wayne Ellington- The Cavs are running out of bodies and Ellington logged 35 minutes on Tuesday.

Francisco Garcia- Chandler Parsons should not be out much longer.

Tyler Zeller- He scored 18 points and the Cavs are probably going to give him an extended look with the season almost wrapped up.

Nick Young- No thanks. Although, you can keep an eye on him since he did score 18 points.
