Vikings Outshot by Dolphins, 37-35
The Vikings were nipped by the Dolphins, 37-35, in Miami Gardens.
Teddy Bridgewater accounted for two touchdown on 19 of 26 passing for 259 yards and one pick. Ryan Tannehill completed 35 of 47 passes for 396 yards, four touchdowns and one pick for the Dolphins.
Matt Asiata was a standout player for the Vikings, rushing for 58 yards on 16 attempts while adding two touchdowns and had three receptions for 19 yards. Jarius Wright snagged three passes for 38 yards with a score.
The Minnesota defense fell apart, giving up 396 yards passing and 116 rushing. They sacked Tannehill two times.
Dolphins running back Lamar Miller had a big game, putting up 92 yards rushing, 58 receiving and one touchdown. After Tannehill, he was the top performer for Miami. Tight end Charles Clay also had a good game with 114 receiving yards.
The Vikings will play host to the Bears (5-10) next week while the Dolphins play against the Jets (3-12), also at home.
