Vikings CB Winfield expected to play with hand fracture
Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield has a hand fracture but is expected to play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, coach Leslie Frazier told reporters on Monday.
Winfield sustained the injury Sunday during the 23-6 win over the Houston Texans but stayed in the game.
Frazier said an MRI taken Monday revealed the fracture and that Winfield should play with the hand in a soft cast.
Running back Adrian Peterson still has abdominal soreness and will probably practice on a limited basis this week.
Defensive end Brian Robison missed Sunday's game with a sprained right shoulder but may be available against the Packers.
