VIDEO: Coach Says Georges St-Pierre Training for Possible UFC Return

Eye Injury Kept Georges St-Pierre from Fighting Michael Bisping

Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre has never said that he has closed the door on his fighting career. The 34-year-old hasn't fought in two years, but is doing a mock training camp with Freddie Roach and will determine at its conclusion whether the desire to return to fighting is there or not.

“So we came up with a process. He's going to train for a fight. He's going to have a six-week training camp. At the end of the six weeks, if he feels like he's ready to fight and he's hungry for it like he always has been, he's going to do it, he's going to fight one more time,” the legendary boxing training recently told FightHub.

“If he doesn't feel it and he feels like he's just not there, he's going to let it go and retire.”
