TBT: Von Miller destroys Tom Brady in AFC Championship

The Denver Broncos Super Bowl 50 championship-winning season came thanks in large part to Von Miller. He was a huge difference maker all season, especially in the team’s final two playoff games. Without Miller, it’s tough to envision them going somewhere far in the playoffs.

Thankfully, the Broncos DID have Miller for the playoffs, something that crushed their hopes in Super Bowl 48 by playing without their best defensive star. As you’ll remember in the AFC Championship, Miller was all over Tom Brady; finishing with 2.5 sacks and an interception.

Remember when everyone said the Patriots would beat the Broncos? Even though Denver had the league’s best defense and home advantage? Those were the days. Here is evidence that Miller didn’t take to that kindly.

It gets better:

I didn’t mention I was at this game yet, and it was awesome to see a modern Lawrence Taylor take over a game so easily. Bill Belichick has had a history of eliminating the opposition’s top player, but there was no way he was stopping Miller.

The Patriots only lost 20-18, but they probably would have won without Miller’s efforts. Brady was pressured all game, as Miller and DeMarcus Ware forced plenty of bad throws in the game.

And so, as we come to an end of the videos, we nicely ask John Elway and co. to pay the man.
