With the 94th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select University of Tennessee cornerback, Cameron Sutton.

With their first pick in the second round, the Steelers continue to address needs on the defensive side of the ball by adding Cameron Sutton to their cornerback rotation. Sutton comes to Pittsburgh as a four-year starter from the University of Tennessee with excellent ball skills.

During his time with the Vols, Sutton intercepted seven passes and created 37 pass break-ups. Sutton will help the Steelers by making plays on the ball and creating more turnovers.

By pairing Sutton with their first round pick, T.J. Watt, the Steelers are putting a premium on getting to the quarterback to create pressure and cause turnovers.

Sutton will also provide the Steelers with position flex. Though he mostly lined up as an outside corner in college, he does possess the ability to stick with smaller receivers in the slot. Sutton will likely provide the Steelers with another corner for their nickel and dime formations on passing downs.

If needed, Sutton can also give the Steelers another option in the return game; he averaged 14.9 yards per punt return with three touchdowns while at Tennessee.

Stay tuned as the Steelers are set to go on the clock again shortly at pick 105 and we will have another update on their last selection of the evening.
