Stanford DT Stephens to miss game at UCLA

Stanford defensive tackle Terrence Stephens will miss Saturday's game at UCLA to attend to what the school described as a personal matter on campus.

Stephens, a senior, has 10 tackles, including three for a loss and a sack, this season. He has started seven of 11 games for the Cardinal, which boasts one of the nation's top run defenses. Two weeks ago, Stephens had the best game of his career with five tackles, including a sack, against Oregon State.

Junior David Parry, a backup nose guard, likely will fill Stephens' spot.

At stake this weekend for Stanford is a spot in the Pac-12 championship game as the North Division champion.
