Sources: Andre Iguodala's MRI on left knee shows no structural damage

Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala’s MRI result Monday on his left knee revealed no structural damage, league sources told The Vertical.

Iguodala is listed as questionable for Game 2 of the Western Conference finals Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs. He dealt with soreness in his knee during the Warriors’ second-round victory over the Utah Jazz and was limited to 10 minutes in Golden State’s Game 1 victory against the Spurs on Sunday night.

The Spurs also announced Kawhi Leonard is doubtful for Game 2 because of a sprained left ankle.

Iguodala has served as a critical member of the Warriors’ core alongside Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. He’s helped Golden State to consecutive appearances in the NBA Finals, earning Finals MVP in 2015.

In nine playoff games this season, Iguodala has averaged seven points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 26.3 minutes per game.

Iguodala, who will be valued as one of the leading two-way players in July free agency, has averaged 13 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 13 NBA seasons.
