Source: Nate Burleson joining Browns on one-year contract

Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson is remaining in the Midwest.

He's agreed to a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns, according to a league source.

Burleson also visited the Miami Dolphins during free agency.

Burleson is entering his 12th season in the NFL.

His first three years oin the NFL were spent in Minnesota before signing an offer sheet with Seattle in 2006. After the 2009 season, Burleson signed a free agent deal with the Lions and spent the previous four seasons in Detroit.

For his career, Burleson has totaled 5,630 yards and 39 touchdowns.

His most productive year came in 2004, when he recorded 1,006 yards and nine touchdowns with the Vikings.
