MEDICAL WATCH:

--1B Justin Smoak (tight right hamstring) didn't play April 18. He was back in the lineup April 19.

--LHP George Sherrill (strained left elbow) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 10.

--OF Mike Carp (sprained right shoulder) went on the 15-day disabled list March 29. He began a rehab assignment at Class AAA Tacoma on April 13, and he likely will be activated in late April.

--OF Franklin Gutierrez (partially torn right pectoral muscle) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 24. He resumed throwing in late March, and he might be able to start a rehab assignment in late April.
