Reports: Reliever Gonzalez agrees to sign with Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers and free-agent left-hander Mike Gonzalez have reached agreement on a one-year contract, multiple media outlets reported Friday.

The contract calls for Gonzalez to earn $2.25 million, plus incentives, according to ESPN.com.

Gonzalez still must pass his physical, and because league offices are closed for the New Year's Day weekend, the deal probably will not become official until next week. The Brewers have to clear a spot before officially announcing his signing.

Gonzalez was 0-0 with a 3.03 ERA in 47 appearances for Washington in 2012.
