Report: Scott Skiles out as Bucks' head coach

Scott Skiles is likely out as coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, USA Today reported late Monday evening.

Citing a "person familiar with the discussions," the newspaper added that the source spoke on the condition of anonymity because the Bucks had not officially announced Skiles' departure.

The report also indicated that Skiles was not fired but that it was a mutual decision between him and the team to part company. The Bucks have lost their last four games and now stand at an even .500 at 16-16.

Skiles has led the Bucks since 2008-09, with a record of 162-182. In his 13-year career as an NBA head coach he's 443-433.

In another report, this one by NBA.com, Skiles had reportedly told team officials that this would be his last season coaching the Bucks. In turn, team officials tried to persuade Skiles to stay, and reportedly indicated they would offer him a new and larger contract to remain as head coach.
