Report: OT Long seeking $10 million a year

Free agent offensive tackle Jake Long is believed to be seeking at least $10 million a year in his next contract, according to the Miami Herald, and that makes the Miami Dolphins pessimistic about their chance of keeping him.

Long turned down the Dolphins' contract extension offer during the season, according to the report.

Long, who turns 28 in May, may not be quite the dominating lineman he was in the past. He has started all 74 games in which he has played during his five-year NFL career, but he played in just 12 games this past season.
