Report: 10 players receive NBA draft invitations

The NBA invited 10 players to attend the draft and could add several others to the list before Thursday night, ESPN.com reported.

The invitees to the green room are Nerlens Noel of Kentucky, Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller of Indiana, Otto Porter of Georgetown, Alex Len of Maryland, Anthony Bennett of UNLV, Ben McLemore of Kansas, Trey Burke of Michigan, Michael Carter-Williams of Syracuse and C.J. McCollum of Lehigh.

The invitees aren't necessarily the players who will be picked one through 10 but are the ones that NBA general managers have identified as the most likely to be selected early.

The NBA normally ends up inviting 13 to 15 players to be on hand when their names are called. ESPN reported that player agents were informed that several names could be added as the draft nears.

Among those who might receive late invites, according to ESPN, are Kentavious Caldwell-Pope of Georgia, Steven Adams of Pittsburgh, Shabazz Muhammad of UCLA, Sergey Karasev of Russia, Kelly Olynyk of Gonzaga and Giannis Antetokounmpo of Greece.

The draft begins at 7 p.m. ET Thursday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
