Redskins TE Davis, K Forbath inactive

Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis and kicker Kai Forbath are inactive for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Davis is out with an ankle injury and Forbath has a groin injury.

Logan Paulsen will start in place of Davis and rookie Jordan Reed will likely get increased playing time.

Davis has three catches for 25 yards this season since coming back from an Achilles injury last year.

John Potter will handle the place-kicking duties with Forbath out a second straight week.

QB Rex Grossman, RB Evan Royster, S Jose Gumbs, G Josh LeRibeus and DL Chris Baker are also inactive for the Redskins.
