Redskins cut Adam Carriker, Sav Rocca

The Washington Redskins have cut veteran defensive tackle Adam Carriker and punter Sav Rocca, the team announced.

Carriker had a $6.51 million salary-cap figure.

Rocca had a $1.36 million salary-cap figure.

The Redskins also cut tight end Richard Quinn and running backs Davin Meggett and Jawan Jamison.

It's that itme of year around the NFL as teams are paring their rosters down prior to free agency.
