Ravens Second Round Pick Tyus Bowser Analysis

With the 47th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft the Baltimore Raven have selected Tyus Bowser. A lengthy explosive pass rusher, Bowser fits as a prototype stand up outside 3-4 linebacker.

This young man is an absolute freak of an athlete. Bowser possesses nothing less than elite movement skills that go perfectly with his suburb frame. Being a former collegiate basketball player adds the cherry on top of his athleticism.

Bowser is perhaps the best pure athlete in this draft class. He is a natural pass rusher with the great moves to cause disruption in the backfield. Bowser is an absolute play maker. There is nothing but upside with this freak of a young man.

In film this young man makes plays sideline to sideline. Bowser is always near the ball. Whether he is making the play or not he is never far away.

However, there are concerns with this young man. There are times when Bowser is in position to make the play and he misses or just makes a mistake. This makes people question his instincts and football IQ.

All told, Bowser is a great fit for the Ravens defense and he will have success with this team with the help of the veterans in their front.
