Raiders Beaten by Broncos, 41-17
The Raiders were crushed by the Broncos, 41-17, at home.
Derek Carr accounted for two touchdown on 30 of 47 passing for 192 yards and two picks. Peyton Manning put up better numbers for the Broncos, and ended up going 31 of 44 with 340 yards through the air, five touchdowns and two picks.
Darren McFadden ran for 14 yards on seven carries in addition to four receptions for 22 yards. Mychal Rivera was a top performer, snagging six balls for 64 yards while adding a touchdown.
The Oakland defense failed, giving up 353 yards passing and 118 rushing.
Broncos tight end Julius Thomas was impressive, churning out 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Running back C.J. Anderson also performed well with 90 rushing yards, 73 receiving and one touchdown.
The Raiders head to San Diego next week to face off with the Chargers (5-4) while the Broncos travel to St. Louis to play the Rams (3-6).
