Patriots Fall to Bills, 17-9
The Patriots were beaten by the Bills, 17-9, at home.
Jimmy Garoppolo couldn't reach the end zone as he went 10 for 17 passing for only 90 yards and no interceptions. Kyle Orton completed 16 of 23 passes for 176 yards, one touchdown and one fumble for the Bills.
LeGarrette Blount rushed for 62 yards on 10 carries. Brandon LaFell caught four passes for 70 yards.
The New England defense surrendered 104 yards rushing and 176 passing. They sacked Orton two times.
Finally, Stephen Gostkowski was perfect, connecting on all three of his field goal attempts.
Bills wide receiver Robert Woods racked up 39 receiving yards and one touchdown.
