Orioles' Bundy cleared to resume throwing
Prized right-handed pitcher Dylan Bundy was cleared to begin a throwing program by surgeon Dr. James Andrews.
Bundy, 20, received a platelet-rich plasma injection in April, when Andrews also ordered six weeks rest.
The power-throwing starting pitcher was selected fourth overall in 2011 and has 103 2/3 minor-league innings under his belt.
He debuted with the Orioles as a reliever when called up during roster expansion in September and pitched 1 2/3 shutout innings.
