Northern Iowa' s Jacobson agrees to 10-year deal

Northern Iowa head coach Ben Jacobson agreed to a 10-year deal with the school that will take him through the 2022-2023 season.

Jacobson has a 129-70 record in his six seasons with the Panthers, including five straight 20-win seasons.

His annual salary will remain $525,000, with $25,000 annual raises built in, according to The Des Monies Register.

Jacobson has been considered for some high-profile openings, including the vacant Minnesota job, according to ESPN.
