The NFL playoffs kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET with the Cincinnati Bengals visiting the Houston Texans. The night concludes at Lambeau Field where the Green Bay Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings at 8 p.m. ET.

Houston (12-4) stumbled into the postseason by losing its last two games to miss out on a first-round bye and home-field advantage. Cincinnati (10-6) won its last three games of the regular season to secure its first consecutive playoff berths since 1981-82.

Thanks to Adrian Peterson (pictured), Minnesota (10-6) earned its playoff spot last Sunday by beating Green Bay (11-5). Peterson boosted his MVP candidacy by rushing for 199 yards, including a 27-yard run in the closing seconds to set up the winning field goal. The defeat dropped the Packers to the NFC's No. 3 seed and out of a first-round bye.
