Feb 27 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Saturday's National Basketball Association games: Spurs 104, Rockets 94 Forward Kahwi Leonard scored 27 points while his frontcourt counterpart LaMarcus Aldridge chipped in a double-double as the San Antonio Spurs capped their annual "Rodeo Road Trip" with a 104-94 win over the Houston Rockets Saturday night at Toyota Center. The Spurs (50-9) became the second team to reach 50 wins by capping a 7-1 road trip, their lone loss coming at the Los Angeles Clippers in their first game following the All-Star Game. San Antonio led wire-to-wire, blitzing the Rockets (29-30) with 66.7 percent shooting in the first quarter. Warriors 121, Thunder 118 (overtime) Stephen Curry delivered again for Golden State, hitting a 3-pointer from beyond 30 feet with 0.6 of a seconds left on Saturday night to rally the Warriors to a 121-118 overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Curry scored 46 points and tied an NBA record shared by Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall with his 12th 3-pointer of the game. Curry finished 12 of 16 from 3-point range. Guard Klay Thompson added 32 points as the Warriors improved their record to 53-5. Celtics 101, Heat 89 Marcus Smart scored eight of his team-high 15 points in the fourth quarter to power the Boston Celtics to their 10th consecutive home victory with a 101-89 win over the Miami Heat in a Saturday matinee at TD Garden. The second-year guard was one of six double-digit scorers for Boston (35-25), which is now one win shy of tying its longest home winning streak since the 2012-13 season. Timberwolves 112, Pelicans 110 Guard Andrew Wiggins drew a blocking foul against Eric Gordon and hit two free throws with 3.6 seconds left to lift the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 112-110 comeback victory over the New Orleans Pelicans Saturday night at the Smoothie King Center. In earning only their ninth road victory of the season, the Timberwolves (19-40) were led by center Karl-Anthony Towns with 30 points and 15 rebounds, guard Zach LaVine with 25 points and Wiggins with 20. Trail Blazers 103, Bulls 95 Led by 31 points from guard Damian Lillard, the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Chicago Bulls 103-95 on Saturday night at the United Center. Lillard was among four players who scored in double-figures for Portland (31-28), including Mason Plumlee (16 points), Allen Crabbe (11 points) and Gerald Henderson (13 points). Pistons 102, Bucks 91 A 26-point effort from shooting guard Khris Middleton wasn't enough for the Milwaukee Bucks, who fell 102-91 to the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night at the Bradley Center. Middleton hit 11 of 20 shots with a pair of 3-pointers and centers Miles Plumlee and Greg Monroe scored 10 points each for the Bucks, who shot 48 percent from the field and made 6 of 11 3-pointers but gave up 23 points on 21 turnovers. Suns 111, Grizzlies 106 Center Alex Len scored 22 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and the Phoenix Suns snapped a 13-game losing streak with a 111-106 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Forward P.J. Tucker added 17 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists as the Suns (15-44) won for the first time since they beat the Atlanta Hawks on Jan. 23 and avoided tying the franchise record for the most consecutive losses. The Suns lost their last game in the 1995-96 season opened the next year with 13 straight losses. Nets 98, Jazz 96 Forward Thaddeus Young scored 21 points and center Brook Lopez had 19 as the Brooklyn Nets surprised the Utah Jazz for a 98-96 road win Saturday night. The Jazz had an opportunity to win the game after Nets guards Wayne Ellington and Donald Sloan missed late free throws.
