(Adds late games) Nov 8 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Friday's National Basketball Association games. - - Pacers 91, Raptors 84 Forward Paul George scored 18 of his 23 points in the second half, and the Indiana Pacers defeated the Toronto Raptors 91-84 to remain the NBA's only unbeaten team. George also had eight rebounds and six assists for the Pacers (6-0). Pacers center Roy Hibbert had 20 points and seven rebounds and guard George Hill, who missed the previous three games with soreness in his left hip, finished with 14 points. Forward Rudy Gay led the Raptors (2-4) with 30 points. - - 76ers 94, Cavaliers 79 Evan Turner had 22 points, 10 rebounds and five assists as the Philadelphia 76ers drubbed the Cleveland Cavaliers 94-79 in the homecoming of former 76ers center Andrew Bynum. Backup guard Tony Wroten added 18 points for the 76ers (4-2), who rallied from a 14-point deficit after a quarter. Guard Dion Waiters, a Philadelphia native, scored 18 points to lead the Cavaliers (2-4), who shot just 33.3 percent from the floor, compared to 47.6 percent for Philadelphia. - - Knicks 101, Bobcats 91 Forward Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points and center Andrea Bargnani added 25 as the New York Knicks beat the Charlotte Bobcats 101-91. The Knicks (2-3) snapped a three-game losing streak and in the process got revenge for a 102-97 loss to the Bobcats (3-3) in New York on Tuesday. The New York victory came on the same day that Bobcats coach Steve Clifford underwent a procedure to have two stents placed into his heart. Former Knicks great and Bobcats assistant Patrick Ewing assumed the role of acting coach in Clifford's absence. - - Wizards 112, Nets 108 (overtime) Forward Trevor Ariza drained a clutch three-pointer with 40.3 seconds left in overtime as the Washington Wizards rallied for a wild 112-108 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Forward Nene's tip-in basket with 1.2 seconds left in the fourth quarter forced overtime. Washington improved to 2-3 while Brooklyn dropped to 2-3. Bradley Beal scored 27 points to pace the Wizards, who had five players score in double figures. - - Celtics 91, Magic 89 The Boston Celtics won their second consecutive game by using a smothering defense and a well-balanced attack to beat the Orlando Magic 91-89. Forward Brandon Bass led the Celtics with 16 points, including a pair of free throws with 10.5 seconds remaining. Point guard Avery Bradley, who finished with 14 points, made one of two free throws with :03.5 remaining. Guard Arron Affalo led the Magic with 23 points, including nine in the final 1:38 that almost spoiled the Celtics night. - - Thunder 119, Pistons 110 Forward Kevin Durant poured in 37 points and added eight rebounds and seven assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder topped the Detroit Pistons for the ninth consecutive time, 119-110. Guard Russell Westbrook had 20 points despite 5-of-19 shooting and rookie center Steven Adams supplied 17 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks for the Thunder (4-1). Forward Josh Smith scored a season-high 25 points with eight rebounds for the Pistons (2-3). - - Pelicans 96, Lakers 85 Forward Anthony Davis scored 32 points, including an 11-point fourth quarter, while grabbing 12 rebounds for his fourth double-double in six games to power the New Orleans Pelicans to a 96-85 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. When Los Angeles cut the deficit to 84-81 with 3:29 left, the Pelicans ran off 11 consecutive points, with Davis accounting for seven. The victory evened the Pelicans' record at 3-3 and gave them their first regular-season win over the Lakers (3-4) following 11 consecutive losses dating back to 2010. - - Timberwolves 116, Mavericks 108 Forward Kevin Martin scored 23 of his 32 points in the second half and forward Kevin Love provided the knockout punch as the Minnesota Timberwolves scored a 116-108 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Martin had 12 fourth-quarter points for the Wolves (4-2) while the Mavericks dropped to 3-3, losing their second straight game. Love, who had a double-double by halftime, had 32 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists, coming two assists short of his first career triple-double. - - Bulls 97, Jazz 73 The Chicago Bulls could not secure a personal milestone for forward Luol Deng, but they did move past their early season struggles by pounding the winless Utah Jazz 97-73. Deng's night ended with 19 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and five steals. He finished one assist short of his first career triple-double. - - Spurs 76, Warriors 74 Point guard Tony Parker had 18 points to push the San Antonio Spurs past the Golden State Warriors 76-74. Parker was seven of 14 from the field with four assists. Forward Kawhi Leonard added 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals for San Antonio (5-1), which led the whole game. Guard Toney Douglas came off the bench to lead the Warriors (4-2) with 21 points. - - Suns 114, Nuggets 103 Forward Markeiff Morris scored a career-high 28 points and added 10 rebounds and guard Eric Bledsoe had nine of his 17 points in the fourth quarter as the Phoenix Suns blew an 18-point lead in the third quarter before rallying for a 114-103 win over the Denver Nuggets. Guard Ty Lawson had 20 of his 29 points in the third quarter when the Nuggets outscored the Suns 40-20 and used a 36-7 run to turn the game around. But the Suns, who scored a season-high 64 points in the first half, finished with a 30-point fourth quarter to move to 3-0 at home this season. - - Trail Blazers 104, Kings 91 Guard Damian Lillard and forward LaMarcus Aldridge combined for 42 points to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 104-91 victory over the Sacramento Kings. Lillard scored 22 points and Aldridge 20 for the Trail Blazers (3-2), who led almost from start to finish.
