Robin van Persie, Falcao, Nani, Rafael da Silva and Tom Cleverley have all departed while Angel di Maria, who van Gaal broke the British transfer record to sign just twelve months ago (he cost United $93.3 million from Real Madrid), will confirm his transfer to Paris St-Germain shortly. Reserve goalkeeper Victor Valdes is also on his way after a falling-out with van Gaal.
