Kansas picks up Arkansas transfer

Center Hunter Mickelson is transferring to Kansas after two seasona at Arkansas, JayhawkSlant.com reported Thursday.

After sitting out next season, The 6-foot-10 Mickelson will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Mickelson averged 5.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots in two years at Arkansas, which released him from his scholarship last week. He saw his playing time diminish last season as Razorbacks coach Mike Anderson went to a faster pace.
