Jim Rome Is Burned Over Report He May Call UFC Fights
UFC fans are burning over a report that outspoken sportstalk radio host Jim Rome is in talks to replace Mike Goldberg as the mixed-martial-arts league’s lead broadcaster.
FloSports managing editor and former Bleacher Report MMA writer Jeremy Botter said on Twitter that he’s confirmed talks with the former “Rome is Burning” host, which were originally mentioned by former fighter Chael Sonnen on a podcast. Here’s Botter’s tweet:
I’ve been able to confirm the rumors re: Jim Rome to UFC as Goldberg replacement. It’s not done yet, but talks are ongoing.
